Original & Vintage Style Country Homewares & Gifts

DottyMoos is run from a beautiful Regency country farmhouse and shop in rural Wiltshire, England. We believe in relaxed stylish country living with products that are both beautiful and a pleasure to live with, with an emphasis on vintage style design.

To those of you who keep coming back to check for the new website please bear with us,we are getting there I promise! The new site will be improved and expanded but still retaining that personal feel of an old country emporium. You will be able to make instant payments online or by post and the layout will be simple, clear and user friendly. In the meantime you are welcome to visit our shop in Wiltshire, The Inner Yard, which we share with Green Tulip and No 33 Antiques, details below.

We have masses of new products sourced mainly from small independent rural suppliers, ranging from cards, ceramic homewares, soft furnishings, interior decorations, bags and jewellery. We aim to provide a range of items that you won't see on the highstreet, including original vintage items when we can source them (or can bear to part with them!)
We will be posting pictures of items to come and updating the site regularly to keep you aware of our progress, so please keep popping back to browse our pages for a glimpse at what we believe country living is all about...

As our regulars will know, we are always changing the colour of our end wall and moving the shop around. New ranges are continually being sourced and I am currently waiting for some gorgeous wooden animal cutouts as seen in Country Living magazine, fabulous mounted photographic prints from the official Game Fair photographer and fabrics from Vanessa Arbuthnot! We also have had some lovely furniture pieces in the shop including a grey painted Scandinavian bench, glass fronted armoire and a painted metal and brass double bed - pictures to come!

Situated at The Old Potato Yard in a beautiful setting just outside Devizes, The Inner Yard was set up by myself and two friends who were looking for new premises for their businesses, and we spotted the opportunity one day when having a coffee across the yard.

Our vision has transformed an unused dairy into a contemporary showroom offering a wide range of furniture, homewares and gifts. With an ever changing assortment that ranges from antique painted furniture to modern handmade jewellery, from retro kitchen accessories to delicious organic chocolate, and from antique garden tools to natural gardener's hand cream there is plenty to satisfy any shopping urge!

The Old Potato Yard is exactly what it says - an old potato yard! In fact potatoes are still grown on the farm but over the last few years the yard has been transformed into a picturesque shopping site - an ideal venue for a day trip in the country. Alternatively, with ample free parking on site, its an easy place to pop into for those last minute gifts or an emergency supper!

In addition you can buy home cooked cakes, ready meals, soups and quiches which are cooked in the adjoining kitchen.
